This really seems like the best option for most people as we wait for housing values to increase. IT'S TIME TO START WINTERIZING YOUR PROPERTIES BEFORE THE WINTER SEASON. THE EASIEST THINGS YOU CAN DO IS WEATHER STRIPPING AROUND DOORS AND WINDOWS. THEN CHECK ALL THE CAULK INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR AROUND ALL DOORS ,WINDOWS AND ANY PIPE AND WIRE PENETRATIONS. BE SURE TO INSPECT ALL PAINT ESPECIALLY ON WOOD INSIDE AND OUT. SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO PUT PLASTIC ON THEIR WINDOWS BUT THIS CAN CAUSE MOLD TO GROW. ALSO WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I ALWAYS SAID THAT I WOULD SEAL ALL MY DUCT WORK IN MY BASEMENT OR CRAWL SPACE BUT AS I GAINED WISDOM IN LIFE I FOUND OUT THAT YOU ARE BETTER TO LEAVE YOUR DUCTS LEAKING A LITTLE AIR AT THE CONNECTIONS TO HELP PREVENT FROZEN PIPES AND THIS WILL HELP KEEP YOUR FLOOR A LITTLE WARMER AND ON THAT NOTE MAKE SURE IF YOU HAVE A CRAWL SPACE TO CLOSE ANY FOUNDATION VENTS AND ACCESSES.
